Following a competitive tender Dovecon were instructed to conduct the external refurbishment to the East & South elevations.


The works comprised of:


• Full access scaffold.

• Concrete & masonry repairs.

• Liquid coating to gutters.

• Replacement of Velux windows with associated repairs.

• Full overhaul to timber windows with associated repairs.

• Replacement of defective glazing.

• Decorations to all previous painted surfaces.

The replacement roof lights involved resident consultations due to the complex access requirements. From our initial resident consultation our delivery team developed good stakeholder relationships. We understood that considerable liaison and explanation of the scheme was necessary to maintain this. We collaborated closely with our client to provide a consistent and unified approach. 

Our selected team were procured based on their skillset and experience of the challenges likely to be encountered on occupied works programmes. 

The scheme completed on time and within the contract budget.
